Lemon Ginger Oil-Free Dressing

Homemade salad dressings are so easy to make. A great dressing is all about the perfect balance of sweet and sour. My 17 year old son is the king of dressings in our home and created this family favorite recipe a couple of years ago.

This dressing is:

  • Vegan
  • Oil free
  • Dairy free
  • Gluten free
  • Refined sugar free
  • Citrus fresh
  • Refreshing
  • Delicious

Ingredients:

1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 Tbsp. real maple syrup
1-2 Tbsp. Bragg’s aminos, coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/8 – 1/4 cup water

Directions:

In a two cup measuring cup, mix together the liquids: lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and aminos. Add the spices: onion powder, garlic powder, and ginger

Add 1/8 – 1/4 cup water. You want enough water to fill the measuring cup to the 1 cup line. Mix with a whisk until everything is well incorporated. Yield: 1 cup Will keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks.

This dressing is delicious served over:

  • Pasta salad
  • A bed of greens
  • Quinoa Salad
  • Cole Slaw
  • Potato Salad
